  • RJ Matos

Hey y’all, my name is RJ Matos and I am a junior here at Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School and I am so excited to have you all in the Arctic Council! I have been doing Model UN and GSMUN since I was a freshman where I have previously served as a Crisis Staffer and Vice Chair. In that time, I have attended multiple conferences like WMHSMUN, VAMUN, and VTMUNC. Outside of Model UN, I throw for my school’s Track & Field team. In my free time, I am a scout where I do all sorts of things like training youth on leadership skills and serve as a content creator for scouting’s national honors society. I am so excited to serve as a chair for GSMUN this year and I look forward to the unique ideas you all will bring to the table.

  • Shrihari Kalagi

My name is Shrihari Kalagi and I am a sophomore at Maggie Walker. I have been a part of Model UN since 7th grade, and I have been a part of GSMUN since I was a freshman here. Last year, I served as a vice chair in GSMUN. Throughout my years of experience, I have attended diverse conferences such as HIMUNC, GODMUN, WMHSMUN, VAMUN, RAMMUN, and more. During my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, and it is very enjoyable for me to collaborate with my teammates and learn more about leadership skills while playing too. Also, I am a part of the Robotics team at Maggie Walker, where I develop many diverse skills from programming to outreach. I am so excited to be your chair and watch the collaboration and dedicated work that takes place in the Arctic Council for GSMUN XXVII this year!
